| Art After Dark Preview Party |
Work at the cocktail party held a few nights before the show opens. Attendance of between 300 to 500 people. |
| Artist Goody Bags |
Assemble a small gift to give the artists as they leave the field on Sunday night. |
| Artist Judging |
Identify and manage the professional artists who will judge the artists on Saturday and award Best In Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention in all 7 categories. |
| Artist Jurying |
Be part of a team that will review artist application slides and decide which artists will be invited to participate in the show. |
| Artist Party |
Help produce a party for the artists. This is an artist only party to allow them time to network with each other. |
| Artist Relations |
Be part of a team that coordinates all communication with the artists from producing, distributing, and receiving the applications, manage the jurying process, interface with the artists during the show. |
| Field Artist Assistance |
Help artists as needed during the show. Watch their booth for them when they need a break. |
| Field Artist Parking |
Manage the artists as they drive on the field to set up / take down and park in the artist parking lot. |
| Field Balloons |
Be part of a team that will decorate the show entrance with balloons. |
| Field Children's Booth |
Sit at the children's booth to collect the activity fee. |
| Field Entrance Booth |
Sit at the entrance booth to collect the entrance fee. |
| Field Exit Booth |
Be part of a team that will thank the visitors as they leave, manage the re-entry process for visitors who want to return, make sure that all visitors enter through the entrance booth. |
| Field Golf Carts |
Be mechanically inclined in case the golf carts need attention. |
| Field High School Booth |
Communicate with the high school and coordinate the booth. |
| Field Information Booth |
Answer a wide variety of questions concerning the show and the town -- helps to have worked on show in the past. |
| Field Large Art Transport |
Transport large art from the field to the public parking lots using golf carts. Must have a valid drivers license. |
| Field Management |
Work on the set-up / tear-down of the field. Coordinate activity between the various booths and functions taking place on the field. |
| Field Public Parking |
Man vehicle entry into the show area to keep out all unauthorized vehicles. Help park cars in 7 public parking lots located just outside the show grounds. |
| Field Raffle Booth |
Manage receiving and labeling all art work received from artists for the raffle drawing. Sell raffle tickets. Conduct raffle on Sunday afternoon. Follow-up with raffle winners who are not present at the time of the raffle drawing. |
| Field Trustee Booth |
Work with the Library Trustees to communicate information about the library to visitors. |
| Marketing Advertising Sales |
Solicit ads from local businesses for the directory. |
| Marketing Badges |
Produce computer printed badges for the 200 artists and 200 volunteers. |
| Marketing Corporate Sponsorships |
Solicit corporate sponsors for the show. |
| Marketing Coupon Distribution |
Be part of a team that distributes discount coupons in Westchester and beyond. |
| Marketing Graphic Design |
Be part of a team that knows how to use publishing software to produce the directory, postcards, posters, coupons, print ads. |
| Marketing Media Advertising |
Be part of a team that produces a media placement plan and execute. Be prepared to analyze results at the end of the show. |
| Marketing Post Card Mailing |
Be part of a team that coordinates bulk mailing of post cards. |
| Marketing Poster Distribution |
Be part of a team that distributes posters in Westchester and beyond. |
| Marketing Public Relations |
Be part of a team that writes and places PR pieces with media. |
| Marketing Signage |
Be part of a team that coordinates and has produced the signs that are used at the show. Keep an inventory of all signs. Place signs on the public streets 1 week before the show. Coordinate with the town regarding the signs they put up for the show. |
